On this Memorial Day weekend, as we honor and remember our fallen for their courage, commitment, service, and sacrifice; may we like our fallen 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln . . .
1. Devote ourselves to the cause for which they sacrificed their lives.
2. May we resolve that these heroes did not die in vain.
3. May we resolve that our Nation shall have a new birth of freedom.
4. May we proclaim that this government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.
